Tumeke Tawa's terrific reading

On Tuesday 26th February Tumeke Tawa did some terrific reading. The novels we are reading are the Silver Sword, Chinese Cinderella, Sea Robbers, The Cay and Fantastic Mr Fox. We have fun activities that make reading cool!

Photos

Today we had lots of fun taking great photos and making sure that they met the set criteria.

Animals

We had lots of fun learning weird and wonderful facts on different kinds of animals.

Chinese

Today we had our first chinese lesson. We learnt a bit about China and some language.

Topic Title Page Judging

Tawa had judging for topic title pages today. Well done Stevie who got awarded a gold award, Gene Silver and Caitlin and Lilly who shared bronze. It was tough to cast votes with all the outstanding pages.

Welcome to Tumeke Tawa 2013

What a great start to the year we have had. We have put together a puzzle to find out our class name. We also learnt that if one of us is missing in Tumeke Tawa our class doesn't work; we are all equally important pieces of the class puzzle.
